Finished a small work.

  1. I love her pose and look, Andrew -- the way she is looking at the viewer over her shoulder. I know she is holding an envelope, but to me, it's as if she was interrupted as she was reading a letter and she turns to look at the person who spoke to her. I love the colors and of course her red hair!

  2. She could be a deer standing still as silence in the long grass at dawn; her eyes hold us defiantly in her clear gaze. She seems almost indifferent to our presence here.
    She protects the letter, clutching it in self defense, its purpose hidden. An invitation, perhaps, (received or being sent?) to lay her lips against the heart of him?
